We’ll go over:

• Where your photos will live (wall art, albums, gifts)

• Outfit planning (so everything looks cohesive and timeless)

• Location ideas around Humboldt, Fort Dodge, Algona, or nearby areas

• Any props or personal touches you’d love to include

You’ll walk into your session feeling completely prepared and confident.

After your session, you’ll come back for your View & Order Appointment.

This is where you:

• Will view a slideshow of your best images

• Choose your favorite portraits

• Get help designing wall art for your home

• Select images for albums or keepsakes

No guessing sizes. No overwhelm. I guide you through the whole process so it feels easy and actually fun.

While I specialize in custom wall art and heirloom albums, you can absolutely add:

• Gift prints

• Holiday cards

• Grad announcements

These are selected after we design your main artwork, so everything still feels intentional and cohesive.

Here’s how I handle it:

• I closely monitor the forecast leading up to your session

• If needed, we can adjust timing, location, or move indoors

• If rescheduling is best, I aim to keep it within 2–7 days of your original date

A few tips that help:

• Schedule sessions in the morning or after naps for little ones

• Make sure everyone is fed (snacks = lifesavers)

• Keep the day low-stress

For school-aged kids, especially in winter, I often recommend scheduling earlier in the day before they’re exhausted.

And don’t worry—I have plenty of experience working with kids and keeping things fun and moving.

If your child is sick, we’ll simply reschedule your session. Just like weather, I’ll work with you to find a new date that keeps everything on track.

Every session is custom designed, so timing depends on what we’re creating.

We’ll go over all of this during your consultation, but sessions are planned to:

• Keep things relaxed (not rushed)

• Give us time for outfit changes if needed

• Capture both posed and natural moments

For the best availability, most clients book:

• Seniors: 3–6 months in advance

• Family sessions: 1-3 months in advance (especially fall)

• Newborn sessions: during pregnancy
