Hello! I'm Brittany, a passionate photographer based in Humboldt.

I’m a wife, a mama to wonderful kids (12 & 7), a small-town Iowa girl with dirt under her nails… and a photographer who believes your family deserves more than digital files lost on a hard drive.

I found Jesus later in life, and it changed everything. I’m calmer. More grounded. I rely on His guidance in my home and in my business, and it’s given me the confidence to stop chasing trends and build something meaningful instead.

A Few of My Favorite Things:

  • Quiet mornings with dark coffee and my Bible before the house wakes up

  • Cows (which are basically giant dogs and no one can convince me otherwise)

  • Being outside — even in the cold — feeding cows or going for a walk

  • Hanging with my kids (five days of school feels excessive)

  • Slightly annoying my children with chores because that’s just good parenting

  • Summer deck nights with my friends & family

  • Not taking life too seriously

I truly love being a mom. We’re not perfect. We argue. We laugh. We clean. We live real life. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I don’t just take photos. I help you slow down long enough to see the season you’re in — the personalities, the connection, the chaos you’ll someday miss. Then I help you turn it into something tangible: albums you flip through on the couch and wall art that lives in your home for years.

In a world that pushes digital and disposable, I choose meaningful and lasting.

And getting dads and teen boys to genuinely have fun at sessions?
That’s my superpower.

When moms light up at the viewing appointment because it actually feels like their family — that’s my favorite part.
