I am an open book when it comes to my clients. I pride myself on communication, and I want to built trust with each and every family or senior that I work with! Communication really is the foundation of trust, so when my clients have concerns, questions, or are feeling stuck…I believe in showing up! Whether that looks like guiding them through finding the perfect wardrobe, or going over the investment information with them. Over the years, I’ve learned which questions come up more frequently than others. Here are some of the top questions that I am asked; they might help you prepare for your upcoming shoot!

1. Why do photos cost so much? Eek, this one comes up a lot! I know, budgets are important, and as a mom, I know how the expenses can really add up. Whether you’re a parent of a senior and getting ready to pay for college and graduation, we know you’re watching every penny. But when you pay for photos, you’re paying to document your memories. You’re paying to capture your family in this season of your lives, you’re celebrating senior year! It’s about much more than just images. You’re also paying for more than just a session, you’re paying for my time and expertise, editing, location scouting, and consultation, too!
2. What do I do if my kids act up? I hear this often. Don’t even sweat it, mama! I am a mom myself, and I know toddlers and babies can be unpredictable. Even older kiddos can have a hard time with photo sessions and posing, but I promise I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to keep your littles happy, engaged, and into the photos. Don’t worry if they decide they aren’t feeling it, because we know they’ll leave feeling confident and happy! 
3. I am insecure about my ____, will you help me? The answer to this is first, that you look amazing and beautiful. I hear this question most often from moms who feel insecure about the baby weight they are carrying, but please know that NO one is judging you more than you are judging yourself, so let that gooooo! I am happy to help you pose, to help select outfits and cuts that you feel amazing in, and to bring out the inner beauty you have. But, I want every mom to feel confident in her own beauty, and the love she carries for her family. 
4. Why can’t you just give me a disc with my photos on it? I know there are many shoot and burn photographers, who just plop your photos onto a disk and hand it over. I’m not that kinda girl. We specialize in beautiful custom portrait sessions, and helping you choose heirloom products to treasure for a lifetime. For many people who choose shoot and burn artists, they end up letting their photos sit in a drawer instead of putting them on their walls, or displaying them in their offices or home.
